Classes & Fees

Classes are held twice a week, in Warkworth Methodist Hall.

Joining the Club:

For new members, we provide 2 free classes where you will be introduced to some of the basic concepts of aikido working with a senior member of the club. You can join in with what the rest of the class is doing when you feel comfortable to do so.

After the 2 free classes, if you decide to join us, you should set up your monthly training fees payment.

A uniform is not required immediately but you should acquire one before your first grading.

Monthly Fees

Fees are paid monthly, and should be via automatic payment.

Individual $25 / month
Family (2 or more members) $40 / month

(We do NOT charge a fee for gradings or grading certificates)

Class Times

Classes are held at the Methodist hall opposite the fire station in Warkworth.
Visitors are always welcome.

Tuesday - 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm SUSPENDED until further notice
Thursday -7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Please arrive 15 minutes before class to help set up the training mats.

Albany Classes

We have close links with Kyu Shin Do Aikido at Albany where Chief Instructor Gail Eder also teaches.

Membership of Warkworth Aikido-Kyu Shin do also entitles you to train at our sister club in Albany.
